I carry two knives, usually a larger drop point and a smaller wharncliffe. The smaller wharnie is for opening stuff, the bigger drop point is for hard tasks/self defense. Do I need to carry two? Nah, not really. But I love knives and have over 100 of them, so I want most of them to get some pocket time.

Nice pouch my fellow pouch boul. Roaring fire has been putting out great stuff. Already got their tool roll and pico pouch pro. I use garage built gears ultimate edc organizer to keep edc, meds, tools and tech all together. Color coded zipper pulls to delineate stuff.

I've been a Benchmade customer since the early 2000s. My first knife was a mini Griptilian. Since then, I purchased many different Benchmade products. They're expensive compared to other knives, but I know most of their models are solid design and high quality.

The majority of what I see is just a fashion show of people wasting their money on stuff they aren’t using. Instead of $400 patina toy, buy a portable air pump and tire plugs. That’s the stuff you need.

As a carpenter, I carry one of my Spyderco Manix 2s for general use. I also have a swiss army knife OR Leatherman Wave as a backup, BUT not necessarily for the blade. The other tools on a multitool are far more useful for my needs than the extra blade is. Sometimes, a utility knife will join the mix if the cutting task involves highly abrasive materials or is done on a dirty surface. I have yet to encounter a situation that requires more than 1 edc knife, including possible self-defense scenarios, because I dont let my knives go dull and don't use them for prying, batoning, chopping, or anything else a folder shouldn't do.

Hey X, I don’t know if you remember but a few months ago you suggested the, NutSac Double Admin Leather as your preferred bag. Well I just wanted to thank you as it is my favorite bag to date. I literally purchased every single competitor bags/slings/etc and was just not happy. Don’t get me wrong, they were all fine however, I felt like I couldn’t wear them on all occasions. The Double Admin Leather is that bag that can fit any situation no matter where or what you wear. It wears beautifully and is the perfect size! It forces you not to carry too many things (which is a very good thing). It is so supple, so well built, the organization is perfect. There is nothing that I don’t love about this bag. The edc community is such a funny thing nowadays. I mean it’s literally just dudes buying overpriced crap that does nothing but weigh their pants down and look pretty on insta. Carry a good knife, small light, and a cheap pen and you’ll have 99% of your daily tasks covered, ESPECIALLY if all you do is work at a desk job (like most of these guys do)

Gun, extra mag, knife are my are minimum daily carry. Add ons include one or a mix of: expandable baton, brass knuckles, stun gun, oc pepper spray, lighter, flashlight. I’m skinny so I can’t get away with much. It literally just depends where I’m going, tone of the city, what I’m wearing, weather, time of year. Winter is always best for me to go all out and over do it lol

i carry a case knife on my hip which usually my go to but always have my swiss in my pocket cause its not big and has the few extras and just yesterday i was in a hurry pulled it cut some rope and left to my work day leaving it at the shop spent the day using my swiss so tired by the end of the day still forgot it there

Good luck with that Gerber warranty. Sent them emails several times about warranty. Had no response. Will never buy or recommend.

I generally EDC a Cold Steel folder (Recon 1, Voyager etc) as a do-it-all main blade and a Leatherman Skeletool KBx as a backup to open packages, slice something quick when i don't feel like using the main blade and scaring the crap out of a karen in the office 😂.
